The ASA difference

Security isn't a presence. It's a record.

An officer on site is the visible half of the job. The other half is knowing what was checked, when, and what was done about it.

A uniformed security officer on a street

Vetted before deployed

SIA licensed and vetted to BS7858, with emphasis on reliability, appearance, communication and conduct.

An officer walking through a building interior

High-pressure experience

Drawn from National Rail Infrastructure and Public Order operations — public safety, incident management, discipline.

A security officer in uniform

Local risk awareness

Local knowledge used to identify the vulnerabilities specific to your street, site or venue before they are tested.

A security officer managing an event

Clear accountability

Digital reporting gives clear records of patrols, incidents, observations and actions taken, so you can read exactly what happened on your site.

Traffic moving through a city at night

Rapid deployment

When requirements arise unexpectedly, we aim to provide emergency cover within 60 minutes across our agreed operating region, subject to officer availability and circumstances.

A security officer on duty

Tailored security solutions

We assess your security needs and develop a service package appropriate to your property, operating hours, risk level and budget.

How it works

From first call to officers on site.

  1. Step 1: Assess the site

We survey the property, access points, lighting, blind spots, operating hours and the risks specific to the location.

  2. Step 2: Propose the cover

A written package with defined scope, cover pattern, officer numbers, escalation procedures and transparent costs.

  3. Step 3: Deploy and brief

Vetted officers deployed and briefed on site-specific procedures, emergency contacts and reporting requirements.

  4. Step 4: Report and review

Digital patrol logs and incident reports delivered to you, with periodic review as the risk profile changes.

Built on trust

What you are entitled to ask us.

  • Licence numbers on request

Every officer holds a current SIA licence, checkable before they set foot on your site.

  • Screening to BS7858

Employment history, identity and right to work verified to the British Standard for security screening.

  • One point of contact

A named contact for your site, from the initial assessment through to ongoing cover.

  • Reporting you can audit

Patrols, incidents and observations recorded digitally and shared with you, not summarised verbally.

Our commitment

Security is about more than simply placing an officer at a location. It is about prevention, preparedness, professionalism and accountability.

ASA Security Ltd

Our objective is to provide clients with confidence that their people, property and premises are being protected by a professional team that takes security seriously.

Common questions

Before you enquire.

If your question isn't here, the quickest route is to email us with the site address and the hours you need covered.

Are your officers licensed and vetted?

Yes. Every officer is SIA licensed and vetted in accordance with BS7858, which covers identity, right to work and employment history. Licence details can be provided on request before deployment.

How quickly can you put officers on site?

We aim to provide emergency cover within 60 minutes across our agreed operating region. That target is subject to officer availability and the circumstances of the request — we will tell you honestly at the point of the call whether we can meet it.

What areas do you cover?

Cover is provided across an agreed operating region, defined in your service agreement. (Client to confirm the specific coverage area.)

What reporting do we receive?

Digital records of patrols, incidents, observations and the actions taken. The intention is that security is measurable rather than assumed — you should be able to read what happened on your site rather than rely on a verbal summary.

Can you cover a one-off event?

Yes. Event work includes access and entrance control, crowd management, bag and security checks, perimeter protection, conflict prevention and de-escalation, incident management, emergency response, and liaison with event organisers and the emergency services.

How is pricing worked out?

After an assessment of the property, operating hours, risk level and budget. We build the package around the site, so costs follow the scope rather than a fixed tier.

Cover starting soon?

We aim to provide emergency cover within 60 minutes.

Subject to officer availability, the circumstances and our agreed operating region.
